TDM Base Module Global Line

The central tool database is the heart of the TDM Base Module Global Line and provides the actual tool data as a digital twin for all departments involved in the ongoing production. Numerous interfaces ensure data exchange at both planning and manufacturing levels. The requirements for tool data vary from department to department. The TDM Base Module maps the different requirements for tool data of the various departments in its data structure and manages tool components, tool assemblies, and tool lists at different levels. Each data level offers the user extensive possibilities to define and store information, data, photos, etc.

TDM helps to reduce storage costs and inventory – and does so with optimal structures. The module supports ordering processes, controls and manages automated and manual storage systems, and ensures optimal inventory levels. Additionally, the storage module processes information about the condition and location of tools and forms the basis for planning tools, orders, and machine occupancy.
